YES 2022 Highlights
The YES Banquet was a memorable night of celebration and appreciation. A crowd of over 150 enjoyed the opportunity to join together in person, count the past year's blessings, and pay tribute to this year’s Parents of the Year Award recipients, Mr. Shmuel & Mrs. Rochel Robbins. The program was also streamed live, allowing friends and family to join virtually.

Rabbi Borsuk opened the evening, focusing on all that we have to be grateful for, especially the fact that our children have been receiving an in-person education. Rabbi Baumann shared a Dvar Torah, highlighting the importance of what happens between the lines in the Torah. He then spoke about all of the amazing things that have been happening at YES "between the lines." The President and CEO of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, Miryam Rosenzweig, sent a congratulatory video message to YES and the Robbins on this occasion.
2022 Parents of the Year
Mr. Shmuel & Mrs. Rochel Robbins were the 2022 Parents of the Year awad recipients. Shmuel and Rochel have dedicated their skills and time to serving the community and specifically YES. There were special video messages from out-of-town close friends and Rabbanim. The crowd was inspired by Rabbi Benzion Twerski's words, highlighting what makes the Robbins successful and how we can emulate them.
Mr. Robbins shared passionate words about how he was drawn into communal responsibility and encouraged everyone to do the same. He concluded by speaking about anticipating the moment as it develops in both photography and in life. Guests were privileged to benefit from samples of his photography, which were featured around the hall.
