Facilities & Neighborhood
Come visit YES!
Revel in the combined aesthetics of space, color and light, designed to uplift the spirit, enhance moods and inspire creative learning energy! A sun-drenched three story atrium overlooking an indoor tot-lot for kindergarteners through third graders creates a heady feeling of spaciousness and freedom. Older students enjoy recreation in our gymnasium which features Olympic quality flooring.
The classrooms are light and bright: sun pours in through large windows, and the walls are painted in a palette of warm and vibrant colors. During Milwaukee winters, our building offers our children a delightful indoor environment.
An architectural jewel since the school's 2001 expansion and renovation, the YES expansion and retrofit earned a national architectural award for its winning design elements. Converted from its modest beginnings of a synagogue and a storefront into a magnificent state-of-the-art educational facility, the building harmonizes the old with the new.
The YES campus provides a fitting backdrop for combining traditional Jewish studies and values with excellence and innovation in education.
We invite you to come see for yourself.
Our Neighborhood
Yeshiva Elementary School’s vibrant neighborhood offers tree-lined streets and affordable housing. Today, most of our students live within walking distance of the school. Combined within the tapestry of neighboring Jewish institutions, YES completes the larger picture of a thriving full service Jewish community. Yeshiva Elementary School strives to create an ever wider circle of friends who will join us in our mission.
Recognizing the importance of community participation, YES encourages school visits by community dignitaries and professionals who volunteer their time with our students. Partnerships with community organizations help to provide financial resources so no child in the community is turned away.
Yeshiva Elementary School is a constituent agency of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation. We are very grateful to the Milwaukee Jewish Federation for their support.
